Mini Medics

🩹This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 11. The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured. 

The course is practical, lots of fun and involves lots of activities for the children to enjoy.

*Please note parents are required to stay with their child.

 ⏰ Duration: 2 hours

 🎯 Syllabus: A range of subjects are covered including:- 

• What is First Aid? 
• Recovery position 
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Defibrillation 
• Wounds and bleeding
• First Aid kits
• Choking 
• DR ABC
• Safety 
• Communication and contacting the emergency services

🥇 Certificate: A certificate of attendance is included for all children. 

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Numbers: A maximum of 16 children can be accommodated on this course.

⚠️ Additional Info/FAQs: The first aid activities may involve hands-on practical exercises, and there is a possibility of getting a little messy. Therefore, we strongly recommend that your children wear clothing that they are comfortable getting dirty in. 

Snacks will be provided during the scheduled break. However, if your child has any specific dietary requirements or allergies, we kindly ask you to pack suitable snacks for them.
