Lee Johnston
Lee is the Founder and Director of Slanjava Learning Ltd, an award-winning provider of accredited Health and Social Care training and consultancy. Since launching the company in 2021, he has focused on creating a centre of excellence for innovative, practical, and values-driven learning that makes a real difference in the sector.

With over 15 years of experience in Learning and Development, Lee has designed and delivered training solutions for some of the largest organisations in Health and Social Care. His expertise spans the full learning cycle, from design and delivery to evaluation and impact measurement.

Guided by the motto Helping Others to Help Others, Lee is passionate about empowering teams, supporting new trainers, and embedding sustainability through Slanjava Learning Ltd’s partnership with JUST ONE Tree, where a tree is planted for every course booking.

Sarah McCance
Sarah is a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for inclusive learning and supporting individuals with Additional Support Needs (ASN). With over a decade of experience in education, she is recognised for her empathy, patience, and commitment to ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to thrive.

As Co-Founder of Slanjava Learning Ltd, Sarah has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s values and its ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion. She believes in breaking down barriers, fostering understanding, and creating positive learning experiences that reflect the diversity of the people and communities served.

Sarah continues to champion a culture of acceptance, empowerment, and lifelong learning within the Slanjava Learning team and beyond.

Patrizia Morrone
Patrizia is an experienced and passionate freelance trainer delivering a variety of accredited and bespoke courses on behalf of Slanjava Learning Ltd.
With more than 15 years of teaching experience and a strong background in healthcare, she brings real-world knowledge and enthusiasm to every session.

Her love for teaching began at 17, when her first training course inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others learn and grow.
Patrizia believes that everyone has the potential to succeed and takes pride in creating inclusive, interactive learning environments.
Her sessions are engaging, thought-provoking, and focused on building the confidence and competence of every delegate.

Alison Connelly
Alison is a highly skilled Registered Nurse and Clinical Trainer who delivers a wide range of clinical and healthcare training for Slanjava Learning Ltd.
With years of experience across theatres, emergency care, and ward settings, she brings extensive clinical knowledge and a practical, evidence-based approach to her sessions.

Her expertise includes life support, IV therapy, tracheostomy care, diabetes, and wound management.
Alison is passionate about supporting others to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence in providing safe, compassionate care.
Her approachable teaching style encourages active participation and ensures learning is both engaging and meaningful.
