DESCRIPTION
Choking emergencies can become life-threatening within minutes, particularly within public or communal environments. LifeVac® is a regulated, non-invasive airway clearance device designed to be used when standard Basic Life Support (BLS) choking procedures, such as back blows and abdominal thrusts, have failed or cannot be performed.

HOW TO USE THE DEVICE
LifeVac® is designed to be used after recognised choking first aid procedures have been attempted.
Attach the appropriate mask to the LifeVac® device.
Position the mask securely over the nose and mouth.
Hold the mask firmly in place.
Push then pull the handle to create suction.
Repeat if required until the airway is clear or emergency services arrive.
