We are incredibly proud to announce that Slanjava Learning Ltd has been recognised as Health & Social Care Training Provider at the Prestige Awards 2026/27.

The award represents another significant milestone for our Ayrshire-based learning and development organisation and recognises our continued commitment to providing practical, relevant and high-quality training to organisations across Scotland and the wider UK.

This latest recognition comes during an especially memorable year for Slanjava Learning. We were recently named Best Health & Social Care Training Organisation 2026 – Scotland in the Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards, following the same Corporate Vision recognition in 2025.

To now add a Prestige Awards win makes 2026 a particularly proud chapter in our journey.

Most importantly, it gives us another opportunity to recognise the people behind what we do: our trainers and associate instructors, clients, learners, partners and everyone who continues to support Slanjava Learning.

Helping others to help others.

Health & Social Care Training Provider – Prestige Awards 2026/27

Being recognised as a Health & Social Care Training Provider winner at the Prestige Awards 2026/27 is something we are extremely proud of.

For Slanjava Learning, this recognition reflects a journey that began in 2021 with a clear purpose: to provide learning that goes beyond simply meeting a compliance requirement.

From the beginning, we wanted learners to leave our courses with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to apply what they have learned in practice.

Five years later, that principle remains central to the way we work.

Our organisation has developed significantly during that time, but the purpose behind it has remained the same.

Celebrating the Prestige Awards Recognition

It was particularly special to attend the Prestige Awards celebration event in person and mark the recognition alongside people who have supported Slanjava Learning’s journey.

Moments like this give us an opportunity to reflect on how far the organisation has come since 2021, while recognising that every milestone has been shaped by the trainers, learners, clients, partners and supporters around us.

What began as a training company has continued to develop into a broader learning and development partner, supporting organisations through accredited and bespoke training, Train the Trainer programmes, competency assessment, practical learning resources and an expanding range of specialist learning solutions.

As Slanjava Learning has grown, we have also expanded beyond course delivery into the development of practical training resources and products. From our First Aid Training Packs and First Aid Face Off learning game to specialist demonstration resources such as our Nasal Spray Demonstration Training Bundle, these products are designed to help trainers and organisations make learning practical, engaging and easier to reinforce beyond the training room.

Attending the event gave us an opportunity to celebrate that progress while also looking ahead to the next stage of Slanjava Learning’s development.

What This Award Means to Slanjava Learning

An award is something to celebrate, but for us its real significance lies in what it represents.

Every course we deliver ultimately connects back to people.

It might be a care worker developing greater confidence in supporting someone safely, a manager strengthening their team’s practice, a trainer developing the skills to deliver learning internally, or an organisation working to improve the quality and consistency of the support it provides.

Within health and social care especially, effective training can influence safety, dignity, confidence, competence and the experience of the people receiving support.

That responsibility is why we continue to place practical application at the centre of our programmes.

Our aim is not simply to get learners through a course or issue another certificate.

We want learning to make sense when people return to their workplace.

Our Heart, Head and Hands Approach

Our approach to learning is built around three principles:

  • Heart – bringing compassion, passion and purpose to learning.

  • Head – connecting practice with appropriate knowledge, evidence, legislation and guidance.

  • Hands – helping learners turn knowledge into confident action.

These principles underpin the way we design and deliver learning across our health and social care portfolio.

Our training includes areas such as moving and assisting, medication, clinical skills, dysphagia and IDDSI, Positive Behaviour Support, personal and intimate care, first aid, fire safety and Train the Trainer programmes, alongside bespoke learning developed around organisational requirements.

As our portfolio has expanded, we have worked hard to ensure that the purpose behind it has remained consistent.

Training Built Around Real Organisations and Real People

We do not believe effective training should involve simply delivering the same presentation in exactly the same way to every organisation.

Where appropriate, we adapt examples, scenarios and discussions around the workplace, the learner group and the people they support.

That may involve exploring situations encountered within a care home, care-at-home service, charity, community organisation or another specialist environment.

This helps learners connect theory with the realities of their role and gives them the opportunity to consider how knowledge applies in practice.

Our relationship-led approach also means listening to clients and continuing to review and develop programmes as practice, guidance and organisational needs change.

Another Major Award Recognition in 2026

The Prestige Awards recognition follows another significant milestone for Slanjava Learning.

Earlier this year, we were named Best Health & Social Care Training Organisation 2026 – Scotland in the Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards, marking our second consecutive year receiving that recognition.

Receiving recognition through both the Prestige Awards and the Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards during 2026 is something we do not take for granted.

It also means we can proudly describe Slanjava Learning as a multi-award-winning health and social care training provider.

But our aim is not simply to collect awards.

Recognition matters because it gives us another reason to reflect on what we are doing well, where we can improve and how we can continue developing the learning experience for the organisations and learners who place their trust in us.

A Shared Achievement

While the award carries the Slanjava Learning name, it reflects the contribution of many people.

To our associate trainers and instructors, thank you for representing Slanjava Learning and bringing your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm into the training room.

To our clients, thank you for trusting us to support your teams and for continuing to work with and recommend us.

To every learner who participates, asks questions, shares experiences and provides feedback, thank you for helping us continually improve what we do.

And to the organisations, colleagues, partners, friends and supporters who have been part of the Slanjava Learning journey since 2021, thank you.

Recognition such as this would mean very little without the people behind it.

We will continue to develop our health and social care training portfolio, expand our Train the Trainer and Competency Assessor provision, create practical learning resources and progress our wider vocational learning ambitions.

Five years into the Slanjava Learning journey, there is still a great deal we want to achieve.

Whatever develops next, one principle will remain at the centre of the organisation:

Helping others to help others.
